it has been a long while since i last blogged.
everything seemed good; and yup thank God that school has not been so stressful yet.. it hasn't been the way i expected or thought. Band is ok.. still can cope well
chinese 'o's is like abt 4 mths time... and im not still quite prepared esp. for compo and juz want to clear this subject and do well in it...
band the past wk had been good.. thk God for the sec1 recruits who join... and pray that they will stay.
the band standard improving quite abit... so im pleased but more can be done to both set and choice piece... will be having first exchange this sat and more practice is needed to improve the quality... its tough being in syf ...
fri nite- ps. wilson talked abt judging pple and we shld not judge pple... and im guilty of that... that when we judge others, we are condemning others... God has created us unique and loves us.. and also coz u can't judge one person by his external features but it is the inside ...
ytd evening - went to vfc for ag youth rally. had games initially and raju won one of the game, having free tix to Synerg!z which wil be held in march. and coz of that, our church was known to be present as well... and the programme was quite funny like pimp your pastor,... but the best part was the sermon by chris long and he spoke abt the presence of God impt in our lives... and that we should be servants of God like this guy called Obed-Edom(thk God i still rmb his name-rather unique and it means servant of God in the wilderness) and he was a servant, worshipper and a risk-taker when tasked to take charge of the ark. and in the end, we went up for altar call, the front was so packed... that everyone was standing even along the sideway and stairs from balcony.. and we all responded to the call of giving our hearts to God, trusting Him and bringing more pple to His kingdom...
so this is one song - that really reflected on giving our lives to God..
