after school today went to millenia walk for rehearsal for grade 8 piano exam in march.. well had to rush from school back home for lunch and then out again to town.
reached cityhall and well, many couples walking when i walk thru citylink (pple at 5pm eating dinner already and some clad in sch uniform) the crowd was big. ... well i felt that in today's modern world of valentine its juz only one day of special love but to me, everyday should have pple spreading that special love around ( not romantic)... and God's love is greatest ( p.s. im not against pple spending valentine)
well went to suntec cross over dangerously past 2 roads leading to the loop around suntec or fountain of wealth ( and no traffic light )and thank God for his safety as there wasnt much time left to lesson time.. and i wanted to start fully maximising the time allocated for the booking.
aft i crossover, a tourist couple asked me the location of a certain hotel n i showed them my map ( haha, printed it out from streetdirectory to direct me in my walk to milleniawalk and so got that hotel printed in the map )...so i told them i got a map and showed them where it was... and it occured told me that i needed a map ( my direction isn't poor, but juz that i wanted to know the exact location and not take a long route ... so that's how i cross but dangerously)
went there earlier and the room is soundproof- softboard , carpet and a big room ...the piano sound didn't ring out loud though the keys were light.. and my piano teacher said i had to play louder and make it clean since the piano is quite muffled.. made some mistakes though.. n the sound i played initially was absorbed by the carpet, softboard... and my teacher felt this kind of room was more for self-practice and studio-like, not performance for exams... so must play louder at home though piano at home is pretty loud... so walk back to mrt station with teacher, and my goodness the traffic real heavy and i jaywalk with my teacher.(so learn that next time need to go thru marina square instead of crossing over to suntec).. well came back to suntec and citylink , it was a bigger crowd this time round, everywhere u go can see couples... ok juz ranting here...
and on the way home , the bus was packed with working pple ... quite cram initially
well, chinese new year is like in 2 days time for me, because there will be celebration on fri and there break all the way til tues... got test next wed though
