the past two days were great!
ytd:
went to national library for project . well hadn't been to this national library before... and it was fun time discussing. i really thank God that my group members are efficient and we do things not last-minute...
then went for youth in the evening..
well, worship session was a constant reminder about soaking into the presence of God and i just read through cornerstone church's website (pastor's heart) about being in the presence of God :

"The pastor and his wife were expressly humble, which spoke loudly of the manifested Presence of God in the church... where we’ve experienced the river of God flowing at such a high level, the water level was so high that the only way to be in it was to swim in that river. There would have been no other way to flow in the services. You could not have walked or waded in but only to swim and to let the Spirit of God take you where He wants to lead you. It was an experience described in Ezekiel 47:3-5, where Ezekiel described the river that flowed from under the threshold of the temple… "
“the water came up to my ankles… the water came up to my knees… the water came up to my waist… and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which one must swim, a river that could not be crossed.” A river that Ezekiel describes as bringing healing and life, where everything will live wherever the river goes.The people had such a hunger for God. They wanted to know Him and to know Him. They wanted to walk in His pleasure knowing that they were created for His pleasure. They responded to the altar calls without hesitation, running up by the hundreds and thousands. Literally getting up and running. This is the expressed hunger of the people. They were not coaxed to run… they just ran, kicking up a cloud of sand from the ground."
And it just reminded me that we should yearn and long for more of God in each and every day of my life! things in life just gets amazing when u yearn more for God! It's just so wonderful...
then had carecell group session which was on the study of the beatitudes , which is a 'magnificent charter of life' as coined by my youth pastor... it's something that not only i got to remind myself but to also practically apply these in my life situations... God is there for you, God's favour is there for you when u abide in Him!
today:
went to sentosa for ig outing. even though onli 6 of us turn up, this outing was quite fun without much running around... it was rather relaxed.. we din play much... well, cherie came with the cake to celebrate deborah's bdae (and for me it was a belated one haha) ; then the two left while the rest of us - jeanne, shauqi, isaiah n me stayed on and went into the water and soak ourselves in haha... it was real cooling...
thanks to all who came for this outing and made it possible ! haha
at nite went with my family for dinner at jack's place to celebrate my belated birthday... the quantity was huge and food was great!
