Forest adventure was fun!
this morning, youth peeps and i went to bedok reservoir for this adventure thingy where there are obstacles. im glad it was a fun trip though it was tiring climbing up rope ladders, swinging from one end to another, doing a tarzan stunt, flying fox etc.
it was quite fun having many youths going. and becoz my group was scheduled to start later, huimin brought some card games. and we the older ones played this game called 'ugly ugly ugly'. quite cool ah it's basically mix and match of 3 exact monsters. so when all 3 exact cards are turnover, one can start to shout ugly ugly ugly and quickly grabs the card. it can be quite tricky since some of them differ by juz 2 teeths - with one having 4 and another having 2 teeths. haha the first round was rough with franklin grabbing almost the whole deck of cards- hilarous haha. and when i played in e second round, it was quite fun where sometimes it took quite a while before everyone can spot that all 3 monster faces are being turnover. haha
anyway back to the experience, it was kind of safe experience and i guess if i had gone for such thing a few years back, i would be afraid due to my fear of heights. but once u take this whole experience calm and steady, i guess it shouldn't be any problem.
the tarzan one was fun where u just jump, and hit onto a net where u gotta cling onto. the height of the jump is a sudden steep one and it's quite cool la. dom hulme was telling me that he was afraid that he prayed this ' if i die from this jump, i want to meet God in heaven' . the flying fox was quite cool especially when u're able to fly above the trees and my landing was all backwards, and collecting much sand. so much so that when i took out my harness, a pile of sand literally came ' whoosh' out of my pants. literally it was one pile. haha i was laughing. came back home and had to clear much countless sand.
for me, i guess this entire experience was cool and fun. round 2 next time.
