the orphanage cum sch
the kids there are really poor, the plasterings in the classroom is falling apart, everything there is inadequate, and i really sympathize with them. the classroom everything is dirty, no lights, whiteboard falling apart... so over the two days, we painted and drew some cartoon drawings on the walls. tiring but it was fun doing it since its the first time for most of us. and i remember using my bare hands to cement the walls outside e classroom as well as painting the drawings. haha... and piggybacking the children was good... there was this one guy which kept saying 'yandong' and initially i din understand... it only took me to bend down and letting him cling onto me and i guess it was real fun too. there was another small kid who loves to parrot after what my frien said.
and all these kids really lack the love of a father/mother, they need someone to show them such love by talking to them (even though there's a language barrier) , by carrying them and saying hi to them... i guess it really makes their day
and i guess i learnt alot from this trip as well.... =)
